Fingals - Writing and Photography Course
Following last year's first, and hugely enjoyable, writing course at Fingals Hotel in South Devon we are delighted to be heading back in 2012 for another course.
MORE ABOUT FINGALS:
Fingals is situated in an idyllic valley close to the river Dart and within easy reach of Dartmouth, Salcombe and Totnes. It has an indoor heated swimming pool, a hot tub Jacuzzi, a sauna, grass tennis court and croquet lawn and even garden ping pong. However for the less energetic there are many places in the rambling garden to place a deckchair for a quiet read – or snooze. If the weather is British there are fires, a library, comfortable lounge and home cinema, as well as a summerhouse, stream-side orangery and a snooker/games room.
We love spending time here as do many literary folk; it is a favourite place for writers, publishers and people in the creative arts and media, which makes us feel it will suit Ways With Words people.
Richard and Sheila, the owners, have created a friendly, informal atmosphere at this unique hotel. With its funky art and relaxed, stylish interior we think it will be an inspiring place for a Ways With Words course.
Fingals' website will tell you more about the place.
DATES: 29 April - 4 May 2012
Course members will arrive for tea on Sunday 29 April – roughly around 4pm – and leave after lunch on Friday 4 May, around 2pm.
Non-residents are welcome on the course too - see below for details and costs.
THE COURSES : Theme – Time and Place

Ghost writing is now his full-time occupation.
