TRAVEL
GOING SOUTH WEST
By car: take the Totnes turning off the A38 dual carriageway, 22 miles before Plymouth. Go through Dartington, following the signs to Totnes. At the first set of traffic lights coming into Totnes turn right towards Kingsbridge, and left 1 mile up the hill at a sign to Cornworthy and Ashprington. Turn right after 1.5 miles at the sign to Tuckenhay and Bow Bridge. Drive through Tuckenhay. 2 miles on turn right at ruin, signposted to Dittisham and East Cornworthy; drive on for 1.5 miles descending steep hill; 100 yards after small bridge turn right where hotel is signposted.

FROM PLYMOUTH OR DARTMOUTH
Turn off at the Sportsmans Arms and drive through Dittisham. After 1 mile turn left up second lane - signposted Fingals.

BY TRAIN
There is a regular service from Paddington to Totnes taking approximately 3 hours on the inter-city express. Transfer lifts will be available at an agreed time between Fingals and the station for rail travellers. (More details about timings later.)
