We are sorry to announce that John Simpson is unable to attend the festival. However, we are very pleased to have the great favourite, respected journalist and author Kate Adie taking John Simpson’s place in the programme.

Kate Adie’s most high-profile role was that of chief news correspondent for BBC news, during which time she became well known for reporting from war zones around the world.
